"All Glory Be To God" acrylic on wood panel, 2019, 36x48 inches

This is the what I painted in the minutes leading up to my repentance, depicted in Didymus. I ran head first into the brickwall of seeking my own glory and validation, and gave up on the painting after only a minute or two (which I never do), resulting in a rare minimalistic halftone with lots of negative space. Although it was a bit of a "failure" it remains this really important capture of the last moment just before my old life ended, and in that sense I think it has a very interesting calligraphic quality, with each line meaning something different to me. The single line at the bottom was my final stroke of exasperation before I gave up. This is professionally framed in a clean black frame.
