"Freedom" acrylic on wood panel, 2021, 39x19 inches (plus black floater frame)

September 11, 2001 was a horrible day that affected many things in the world. Unfortunately we were lied to about what happened. This crime was coordinated and covered up by criminals working high up within the Western systems of power, including the government, military, industry, and media. In the immediate aftermath, those who dared to question the narrative were mailed anthrax letters, and the rest quickly fell in line. People incredulously ask how such a large crime could happen without being exposed, and that is because the people asking this are in denial of the power of fear. Fear is what drives people to ignore the truth. This crime was not some chance success for rebels in a cave on the other side of the world, but was actually a carefully engineered abuse by the very people we trust to tell us the truth and protect us, and that realization is simply too much for many people to handle. These people are quick to dismiss the truth as a "conspiracy theory" as if organized crime has never existed.

The text in the painting outlines some of the strongest evidence demonstrating the truth of what I am saying, beyond any reasonable doubt. And while I recognize that the truth is difficult for people, I end the painting by quoting the Bible with a message of hope, saying "the truth shall set you free" which is also the inspiration for the title.  Indeed, although the world is overtaken by evil, true freedom can be found in Jesus Christ. When you understand the love and grace and promises that God has for us, it frees you from the shackles of fear.
