In Matthew 18:21-22 it says -
Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven."
In this image, there are seventy faces in total, and each face is drawn with 7 lines, so it is a visualization of the math, and they get so small in the middle that they almost disappear because the whole point is that it's not about a quota anyways.
This print is based on an original acrylic painting I did by the same name. I took a scan of that painting, and very carefully cleaned up the entire design by hand to produce a clean and solid screen print. Therefor this is partly a reproduction of a painting, and partly an original creation in it's own right. It is signed with permanent marker on the front
The original painting was done on a wood cutout that fit the contour, but if I did that with a screen print on paper, it would be difficult for you to frame it. So I decided to use holographic paper. The default look is silvery gray, but when it catches the light it reveals some really interesting colors that change as you walk by.
