"Bridging the Gap" 3-color risograph print on 17 x 11 paper, limited edition of 100

I started this picture by taking a pattern from the Mandelbrot set fractal and mirroring it. This caused me to see faces in the symmetry, which I then painted to clarify what I saw. Once that was ready, I took the original pattern and used that to halftone the faces I drew. Like usual, I then painted into this algorithmic result to get things just right. For the risograph print, I added a circular halftone of yellow and accents of blue to make this print unique.
